Notes & Reviews:

What a colorful, jubilant Exultate Deo effervescently resonating through the church nave in the highest and lowest tones! What rejoicing the alternation between chorus and soli voices, vocal, and instrumental music expresses - transforming the sober, light St. Mark's Church into a magnificent, brilliant Basilica di San Marco! This was the Suddeutsche Zeitung's response to the November 2011 concert at the orpheus chor munchen with Les Cornets Noir.

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
The program opens with four of Stadlmayr's motets and closes with his polychoral Jubilate Deo Mass. 'Exultate Deo' is the most substantial of the motets in both length and variety. It is an astonishing piece. Indeed, the work explores a full range of emotions, resulting in an overall majestic affect that sets the tone for nearly the rest of the program. What the Germans do so well is manipulate the concerto structure for maximum dramatic effect, contrasting individual virtuosity with the sheer power of the full ensemble.
