One of Chicago's specialties in the third act of their career is Christmas music. Since 1998's Chicago 25: The Christmas Album, seasonal albums have been common for Chicago, and 2012's Ultimate Christmas Collection rounds up two discs of highlights from these records, including duets with Dolly Parton ("Wonderful Christmas Time"), America ("I Saw Three Ships"), BeBe Winans ("Merry Christmas Darling"), and Steve Cropper ("Rockin' and Rollin' on Christmas Day"). There are no rarities for the hardcore, but Chicago fans who never got around to purchasing any of the holiday albums will find this a swinging seasonal soundtrack to their holiday parties. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
