Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, March / April 2013
If you'd like a collection of good songs from these years and these composers, this is a fine sampler. The performances are satisfactory, and Roy shows good vocal coloring and varying dynamics as suit the songs. Singer and accompanist show agreement in their approach. Notes by the performers are helpful. All songs are in English, and Roy's diction is clear; texts are still supplied.

American Record Guide, May/June 2013
I especially like the pieces that have him playing relatively high and the ones that I don't know. The Concerto in E-flat by Schultz sounds good - the corno part is relatively high, and there are also solo parts for flute, violin, and bassoon. Colorful concertos by Johann Fasch and Karl Heinrich Graun also fare quite well.
