If you'd like a collection of good songs from these years and these composers, this is a fine sampler. The performances are satisfactory, and Roy shows good vocal coloring and varying dynamics as suit the songs. Singer and accompanist show agreement in their approach. Notes by the performers are helpful. All songs are in English, and Roy's diction is clear; texts are still supplied.
