Both Delius and Ireland produced an impressive output of songs for unaccompanied voices. Somm Recordings simply couldn't let Delius' 150th anniversary - and Ireland's 50th - pass without reminding music lovers everywhere of the superb quality of these works! Here, they are sung by the Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Choir, trained to a superbly high standard by Paul Spicer, world-renowned as a top choral trainer and conductor as well as composer.
