Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, March / April 2013
Bach's music is interesting, and certainly well sung. His Kyrie sounds almost stereotypical, with its fugal form and chromaticism. I like Knüpfer's 'Mein Gott, Betrübt is Meine Seele' for similar reasons. I'm rather impressed with the choir's handling of this repertory. The ensemble of six men and six women makes for quite a beautiful sound. Their sensitivity to the word painting really won me over. Notes and texts are in English.
