Notes & Reviews:

Genuin presents their sixth release of the Munich Piano Trio, featuring Tilo Widenmeyer, who is also a member of the Melos Quartet. Founded in 1982, they are one of the most active and sought-after German chamber music ensembles. They have toured throughout Europe, North America and Asia, performing in some of the world's most famous venues.

American Record Guide, March / April 2013
These musicians establish an approach that is suitably big and bold in Brahms's assertive, declamatory exposition and expansively lyrical in the secondary theme. Sensitivity to balanced ensemble and clear expression of Brahms's musical structures are also evident in the Piano Quartet, where the group is joined by violist Tilo Widenmeyer, a graduate of the Staatliche Hochschule for music in Stuttgart, where he studied viola with Madeline Prager and chamber music with the Melos Quartet.
