Notes & Reviews:

Music of Louis Vierne (1870-1937) is performed by the men and boys choir of Saint Thomas Church in New York City, considered by many to be the leading ensemble in the Anglican choral tradition in the United States.

American Record Guide, May/June 2013
In its way, the sound on this recording is as imposing as the music. I am astounded by how French the St Thomas organ sounds in the organ symphony. Elsewhere in this issue I praise the quality of a recording of Duruflé's organ works made at Aarhus Cathedral in Denmark. In that recording there is plenty of power and presence.
