Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, May/June 2013
When horn players play them, the pieces require great strength and control. Even if a player handles it with seeming ease, the listener can sense the concentration and effort required. When the pieces are played on corno, they are usually played by trumpeters who are playing in the low and middle registers. The pieces sound completely different that way, even though the pitches are the same. Centaur 3221 is by horn player Bruce Atwell, who has a truly dependable high register. It is a real pleasure to listen to him.
