Notes & Reviews:

Domenico Scarlatti wrote no less than 555 keyboard sonatas, which are all melodic gems, harmonically faultless and rhythmically bold. These brief, colorful and atmospheric pieces rely heavily on keyboard subtleties and seek the agility and imagination of those who approach them for ideal interpretation. Gifted French pianist Racha Arodaky, a former pupil of Murray Perahia, reveals her intimate knowledge of this music on this 2005 recording of eighteen well-chosen pieces.
