The clarinet repertoire reached its zenith in the classical period when many composers showed their interest about this young wind instrument with great flexibility and conceived the first quite demanding concertos for it. The Bel Canto Ensemble consists of members of important Italian Orchestras, who often together perform chamber music both of well-known composers and of minor masters who deserve more consideration. All of them also actively perform chamber music in Italy and in different countries around the world.
