Notes & Reviews:

After his emigration to the U.S. in 1939, Adolf Busch founded the famous School of Music in Marlboro. Well known as both a solo performer and leader of his Busch Quartet, his U.S. tours from the '30s and '40s are still fondly remembered. Busch was also a great composer with modern tendencies based on the tonal system, similar to his contemporary Max Reger.
