Notes & Reviews:

"Dvorak completed his gentle and luminous setting of the mass in 1887, between Symphonies 7 and 8, so it is no surprise that it has the richness and polish of a mature work...I can't imagine better readings than the ones here. Polyansky gets alert and tonally splendid playing from his orchestra, especially the shining violins. The chorus is large, well balanced, nicely anchored by Russian basses, and well-tuned...Fine recording; good notes..." -Chakwin, ARG
