Notes & Reviews:

Young Russian soprano Dinara Alieva, who has already performed many leading operatic roles in Russia and beyond, is a newcomer to the Naxos label. She has been described by Montserrat Caballé as "a natural talent... who possesses the gift of Heaven."

MusicWeb International, 11th July 2013
Judging by this debut recital she seems well equipped to pursue a glorious career for years to come. Rachmaninov's ubiquitous Vocalise is as good a test as any song or aria when it comes to voice production, beauty of tone, legato and technical accomplishment. She has it all, including a fine trill...This is a recording to treasure!

American Record Guide, September/October 2013
Dinara Alieva is a young (b. 1980) soprano from Azerbaijan who has become a principal singer at the Bolshoi. She's earning a reputation as a good actress, and her photographs attest to her striking good looks. Her Naxos recital opens strongly, with Rachmaninoff's 'Vocalise'. Alieva's voice sounds warm and beautiful. She shades the melody nicely and has a good trill. I would welcome a chance to hear her in a complete opera, where other voices could supply some contrast and balance. The orchestra plays well and confidently under Yablonsky's direction.
