William Butt prefers to take risks with the help of an audience and creates remarkable performances in the process with these iconic works by JS Bach, presented here from Warner Classics. London-born William Butt studied at the Royal Northern College of Music with Moray Welsh. He now performs & serves as the professor of cello at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, and plays on a fine cello made by Giovanni Grancino in Milan (1690).
