Notes & Reviews:

This recording features Budapest International Flute Competition and "Prague Spring" Competition first-prize winner Dóra Seres' flute-transcription realization of Niccolò Paganini's revolutionary 24 Caprices, op. 1 for solo violin. "... I tried to stay as close as possible to the originals. However, my first priority was to preserve the character of each caprice. (Dóra Seres) "Dora Seres' flute sound is beautiful, glittering, and energetic. Her imaginative music-making touches her audience." - Hungarian music magazine Parlando

American Record Guide, January/February 2015
Here is a player of sufficient virtuosity to overcome the closed mind of this committed skeptic and convince anyone else who needs proof. Seres plays an 18k gold Muramatsu flute with all the unbelievable wizardry necessary to carry these pieces off, along with superb clarity and a generous dose of expression that is often called for too. She cites Michael Rabin's recording as an inspiration.
