Many of the pieces on this recording were inspired by my travels around Hawai'i. Some were inspired by new settings for me during journeys abroad. Even when I have traveled far from home I still feel a connection to my island roots. I offer this music with deep gratitude to the islands and people of Hawai'i for shaping the landscape of my soul and being the source of so much of my musical inspiration.
