Four Flat Tires on a Muddy Road: All Star Tribute to ZZ Top includes 16 tracks that don't add much to the original, superior versions. A few of the better performances on this compilation include "La Grange" (Black Oak Arkansas), "Sharp Dressed Man" (Molly Hatchet), "Legs" (Artimus Pyle), "Jesus Just Left Chicago" (Pat Travers), and "Sharp Dressed Man/Gimmie All Your Lovin'" (Atlanta Rhythm Section). This ZZ Top tribute was originally available in 2008 on the Cleopatra label under the title An All-Star Tribute to ZZ Top. The 2013 version on Music Avenue adds two tracks, "Dirty Dog" by Andy Barnett & Steve Overland, and "If I Could Only Flag Her Down" by Mick Moody & Steve Overland. ~ Al Campbell
