Notes & Reviews:

Gemma Bertagnolli is widely considered one of the leading sopranos in Early Music. Her voice is powerful, lyrical and passionate, always conveying the emotional message of the text. On this recording she joins Collegium Pro Musica and Stefano Bagliano in Cantatas for soprano, recorder and continuo, brilliant works displaying vocal and instrumental virtuosity.

American Record Guide, September/October 2013
If you like your cantatas doled out with some contrasting sauce, our final record is for you. The program is, in truth, a shared display for the two soloists, singer Bertagnolli and recorder virtuoso (and ensemble director) Stefano Bagliano. The latter gets to show his stuff in the Partita No. 5 in E minor for recorder and continuo and in a G-minor Trio Sonata for two recorders and continuo. Spirited and colorful playing, without a doubt.
