Notes & Reviews:

One of the best quartets in the world will come to an end in June 2013 - making this release doubly valuable. There is a pure musical value of an extraordinary creative program, and it is an opportunity to experience a concert given by the quartet more than 30 years ago. A certain sense of nostalgia definitely appears when hearing this music.

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
The Tokyo players work together, and the recording does them justice; it's rich and resonant. The Interpretations result is effective.
