Album Notes

Lo Mejor de Roberto Tapia is a 20-track greatest-hits compilation that covers all of the American-born, Mexican-raised singer's singles dating back to those taken from 2008's Amigos del M on Machete all the way through to 2012's Muchacho on Fonovisia. The only ones left off this collection are those that were taken from his 2003 self-titled debut for Sony. Tapia, who is one of the coaches on Telemundo's popular television show La Voz Kids, displays solid command of an astonishing array of styles, from bandas to rancheras to sons to narcocorridos. [The Deluxe Edition of the album includes a pair of bonus cuts in "Me Enamoré" and the banda version of "El Señor de los Cielos."]
