Notes & Reviews:

BBC Music Magazine, October 2013
Watt's exceptional range of timbre is especially apparent in John McLeod's inventive Fantasy of themes from Britten's 'Gloriana', while the opening of Nocturnal is sublime...A little more fluidity would occasionally be welcome, but this is a thoughtful and thoroughly enjoyable disc.

MusicWeb International, 19th June 2013
Everything is pretty relaxed and tuneful, passages of reflective nostalgia - inevitably sometimes Mediterranean - rubbing shoulders with edgier-soulful virtuosity...As for Watt, he sounds completely at home whatever century or style he is playing in. He is technically assured, thoughtful, unpretentious...his phrasings, colours and characterisations are a match for anyone.
