Notes & Reviews:

Klaus Egge was considered among the most important figures in Nordic music during the 20th century, and he was crucial in the emergence of a new Norwegian musical language. Einar Henning Smebye and Tor Johan Boen selected chamber music from the composer's long career to perform on this release.

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
The players are all highly competent and expressive and the recording is excellent. These pieces are new to me. I'm happy to have them and you will be too. The picture on the case and liner notes of Egge petting three friendly lion cubs is worth the price of admission.
