Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, September/October 2013
The Saraste comes from Cologne radio broadcasts in January 2013. Saraste, as it turns out, is noticeably quicker in every movement. The gravity is replaced by an energetic excitement that is just as compelling. Saraste manages his quicker tempos with careful attention to balances and dynamics. Both Firsts are quite good, the one mature, and the other youthful.
