American Record Guide, July/August 2014
Muller balances passion with good sense in his interpretation of a well-chosen array of works from Liszt's oeuvre. Switching between ardent lyricism and crisply articulated arpeggiations with ease, his Faust waltz amazes the listener with his sheer power, commanding technique, and flexibility. Both Consolation 3 and 'Liebestraume' are sensitively paced with a rich, singing tone. He deploys 'Reminiscences de Don Juan' with just the right amount of force and light-heartedness. His interpretations are thoughtful, refined, and impressive.
