Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
Performed with clarity, the Dolly Suite is charming and whimsical, part of Cortot's effort to disseminate FaurT's music to younger students. Bach's Toccata is comparably imposing to the original, as Cortot's amplifications and idiomatic effects fill out the texture (in lieu of the organ's ability to sustain notes, the use of ascending, rolling arpeggiations leading up to the first cadence is an admirable substitute). Franck's Violin Sonata reappears as a virtuosic piano work. Yue is lucid and tasteful. The tension apparent in performances like Martha Argerich's with Itzhak Perlman serves as a model. Yue's phrasing is well shaped. Nevertheless this is a solid contribution to our understanding of a worthy piano figure of the early 20th Century.
