Performer Composers

Notes & Reviews:

Israeli pianist Alon Goldstein performs a program of works by Israeli composers. Goldstein studied at Tel Aviv University, the Peabody Conservatory and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He enjoys an international career, performing throughout North America and Europe as an orchestral soloist and recitalist.

American Record Guide, November/December 2013
With the exception of Paul Ben-Haim and Mordecai Seter, all of these composers are living and represent a good cross section of contemporary Israeli piano music. Goldstein is a talented pianist and performs with enthusiasm and skill. The notes (English and Hebrew) tell us about the composers (including photographs) and supply detailed descriptions of the music. The engineers have done their work very well, and the targeted audience of contemporary music aficionados should be well pleased.
