Canadian organist, composer and improviser Rachel Laurin studied at the Montral Conservatory. After serving as organist at Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa, Ms. Laurin now devotes herself to composition, recitals, master classes and lecture. She has composed more than 100 works for various instruments, instrumental ensembles and orchestra. These works have been performed and recorded in major cities in America, Europe, Asia and South Africa. This recording presents some of her organ compositions written between 2007 and 2011.
