Notes & Reviews:

On this second CD of works by Luchesi, Roberto Plano, playing a Fazioli Grand piano F278, performs two concertos and a sonata. Anthony Tommasini has written, "This Italian pianist showed artistic maturity beyond his years [... ] there was a wonderful clarity and control of inner voices in his performances [... ]."

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
Five compositions are in this program. The two concertos are the finest pieces here, and they are very well played. There is a lovely delicacy and grace in the theme and variations (II), where the quiet and subtle shimmering effects are very beautiful. The finest piece - no wonder Mozart played it! - is at the end of the program. The Mozart cadenza in the opening Allegro crowns a very fine opening, and the long Andante is just exquisite. These interpreters are very fine advocates, and these are first recordings.
