Notes & Reviews:

Japanese flutist Atsuko Koga's debut GENUIN CD includes works by the great composers Widor, Massenet, Gounod and Schubert, but also discoveries by Gaubert and Borne, presenting the abilities of this internationally successful soloist in the very best light. Her playing is notable for its soulful tone and breathtaking virtuosity, blending together perfectly with Mayuko Miyata on piano.

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
The flute and piano playing capture the style of this music wonderfully. Koga has a meaty sound that she likes to vary more than most flute players. The slow movement of the Widor suite offers a splendid example of her pianissimos. Miyata seems to be enjoying herself immensely, and she has lots to do in the Widor and the Schubert. Atsuko Koga is a graduate of the Paris Conservatory. Mayuko Miyata studied at the Hochschule fur Musik in Rostock, Germany and now teaches there.
