Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, January/February 2014
This is as fine a program of solo lute music as you will find, with a representative selection of songs from the almost 2,000 that have survived from the Elizabethan period. There are several anonymous pieces, and composers include John and Robert Johnson, J Daniel, Anthony Holborn, and John Dowland. What a beautifully played, soothing collection of songs! Kristian Buhl-Mortensen does a lovely job with these.
