Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
ZShl's release, the ninth installment in Mode's endlessly satisfying survey of all Cage's piano music, includes two genuine finds: a set of six Haiku composed in 1950 and 1951; four of them date from March 1951, when DT Suzu ki gave three lectures at Columbia. The performances and sound are excellent, and there are fascinating notes by Don Gillespie (long-time editor at CF Peters, Cage's publisher) and Zimmermann.

Notes & Reviews:

Recording information: Funkhaus, Klaus-von-Bismark-Saal, Köln, Germany (2012-12-02&2013-03-15_2013-).
