Notes & Reviews:

Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron 'is an artist of a thoroughly Romantic nature. Her deep commitment and complete confidence in her own interpretations impress the listeners, who are carried away by the reality created by the pianist. She combines technical mastery, musicality of the highest order, and an outstanding individuality of interpretation...'

American Record Guide, January/February 2014
Popowa-Zydron assembles a magnificent program of late Chopin, works that explore innovative tonalities and fascinating formal designs. Her interpretations are incisive and refined. Using long phrases and imposing gestures, she applies an expansive arc to the opening Prelude. Her rhythms in the Mazurkas are tasteful. One sounds crisp, another shows a subtle application of rubato. Her attentiveness to color is forefront.
