Notes & Reviews:

Maria Bader-Kubizek plays Leopold Mozart's violin on this recording of W.A.Mozart's much-loved violin sonatas, accompanied by Richard Fuller who uses a 1794 Stein fortepiano. The fourth disc of the collaboration of Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien and paladino music thus presents Austrian cultural heritage both musically and from an art historian's point of view.

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
While I enjoyed these performances of some of Mozart's finest violin sonatas a great deal, the real stars of this release are the violin and the fortepiano. This is nearly an ideal pairing of instruments. The violin has a full, even tone. I would prefer a bolder sound from the keyboard in these sonatas. That said, these are still very fine performances. Bader- Kubizek uses plenty of vibrato. She does play freely and boldly as the music demands, and tempos are well chosen.
