Notes & Reviews:

Mozart produced scores with variable accompaniment to facliitate performances at the Austrian Emperor's court and private salons. This trilogy of Viennese Piano Concerto arrangements was popular in its day, but neglected in the Romantic era.

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
The interplay between the strings and the piano is lively nuanced, warm, informed, and responsive. Tempos are fairly brisk. The sound quality on this recording is still very good, and the depth of the performance shines through. Pechocova-Vernerova's sound is charming: resonant, penetrating- perfectly suited to articulating the full range of Mozart's themes. The piano is broad when necessary. The string playing, too, communicates very effectively in slower, softer, more intimate passages. The slow movements of 11 and 12 show all the musicians at their very best. These are, indeed, truly charming works; and between the two recordings the Praga is by far the more charming of the two.
