Notes & Reviews:

Cycles of the Moon, the world premiere recording from composer Ayala Asherov, is a colorful and poignant cross-section of works from various cycles of the composer's life.

American Record Guide, January/February 2014
Cycles of the Moon concentrates on a viola soloist and, with its accompanying string ensemble, is the largest scored piece on the program. The emphasis is still heartily on melody, with the string ensemble chugging along behind the viola in `Moon Dance' and holding tremolos in `Twilight'.
