Notes & Reviews:

The Kammerchor der Dresdner Frauenkirche and the Reussisches Kammerorchester establish a remarkable dialogue on this CD: the vitality of Joseph Haydn's Creation Mass is paired with the spirited character of Johann Sebastian Bach's Symphony in B-flat major.

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
What got my attention immediately was the lush, juicy sound of the orchestra. The attractive, youthful solo voices came next; and before I knew it, I had been drawn into a lovely performance of Haydn's vivacious Schopfungsmesse. Conductor Matthias Grunert was unknown to me, and I am pleased to make his acquaintance. Grunert's flair for dynamic contrasts creates some imaginative shading as well. I'm pleased to welcome this one.
