Notes & Reviews:

Arcadia Quartet, winners of the Wigmore Hall International Competition 2012 present their new disc of Janacek works.

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
The Arcadia Quartet offers a very different rendition here. I nonetheless found Arcadia's performance just as convincing as the Stamitz's. A work of such emotional complexity can be interpreted many ways, as long as one's approach is clear and consistent. Arcadia's tone is thicker and weightier; and while they play with precision. If you appreciate chamber music, this release will satisfy you.
