In celebration of Julian Bream's 80th Birthday, Sony Classical is proud to release the The Complete Album Collection, a new box set of Bream's forty original LP recordings. Throughout his long career, the charismatic British guitarist and lutenist's virtuosic playing has enraptured audiences, inspired composers and won him four Grammy Awards®. The Complete Album Collection presents the evolution of Bream's repertoire from 1960 to 1991. This collection is a truly historical compendium stretching from Renaissance masterpieces to the finest contemporary works written in the 20th century. The Complete Album Collection comes with two previously unreleased DVDs that include two recitals (one with guitarist John Williams), a documentary on Bream, performances of the Julian Bream Consort and interview footage. The box also includes a hard cover book with new liner notes by biographer Graham Wade and original album artwork housed in a beautiful linen-covered box.
