Notes & Reviews:

Pianist and conductor Boris Bloch has long been regarded as one of the most important interpreters of classical and romantic piano music. Volume 5 on Ars Produktion contains live recordings of Rachmaninov's piano works.

American Record Guide, March/April 2014
The Piano Concerto, nuanced and wildly virtuosic, is the best of the program, a potent blend of subtlety and incredible power. Bloch's steely tone penetrates through the orchestral texture. The rubato he applies at the end of the first theme is a unique touch.
