Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, May/June 2014
Arriaga's style is somewhere between late classical and early romantic. His melodic genius is comparable to Mozart's, and we sometimes catch some of Haydn's wit. Every now and then we are treated to a touch of Spanish flavor. What impresses me most is the imaginative interplay between instruments; everyone is given something interesting to do, even when accompanying a melody. The recording is good, and the notes, in English, are very detailed.
