Notes & Reviews:
With his excellent Japanese singers and players, Masaaki Suzuki here excels himself. His crisp, sharp manner goes with transparent textures and sprung rhythms, and though modest forces are used the result has natural dynamic weight. The consistent alertness of his chorus is a delight.
