Notes & Reviews:

Fifty years ago the great pianist Alfred Cortot passed away. It is in his charming museum villa, under the gaze of Chopin manuscripts that Florence Delaage learned the art of enhancing the musical discourse, of breathing between sentences and varying the sounds to infinity. Cortot said, 'A piece must not be played, it must be reinvented.' At his death he left Delaage his two pianos, and here she pays tribute to him.
