Notes & Reviews:

60 years of the Munich Bach Choir - Reason to Celebrate and A Very Good Occasion for a New CD! An all-Bach program, including the splendid Magnifcat, BWV 243. Hansjorg Albrecht has directed the Munich Bach Choir and Orchestra since 2005.

American Record Guide, July/August 2014
Violinist Rebekka does a great job in the Sinfonia, a work that shows Bach's virtuosity in high gear. The soloists are all good, young voices, easily able to handle Bach's writing (and Albrecht uses soloists in 'Suscepit Israel'). The choir sings with an enthusiasm usually associated with amateur groups, and the orchestra (nice bright trumpets) sounds great. Good sound and notes.
