Notes & Reviews:

Early recordings by Vadim Repin, evidencing his youthful violin mastery. These 1984-1986 recordings were realized when Mr. Repin was a student of the Novosibirsk Conservatory under the famous professor Zakhar Bron. Tchaikovsky's violin concerto and Beethoven's romances are performed with the Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra conducted by Arnold Katz. Repin also plays Eugene Ysaye's sixth sonata for solo violin. '... the most perfect violinist of all I have heard' - Yehudi Menuhin.
