Notes & Reviews:

The mutual influences and interaction between those two different musical personalities is fascinating: Erik's philosophical reflection and creativity, David's tempestuous passion for the double bass, and both of them having an open mind for all musical genres turns them into a fascinating pair, despite their young age. By means of this CD, they realize David's ambition to get the double bass away from its accompanying role in the orchestra and demonstrate the numerous possibilities of the instrument as a soloist. Moreover, for Erik it was an opportunity to write a new sonata for his brother!
