Notes & Reviews:

Anton Rubinstein was a titanic and hugely influential Romantic era figure, especially as a concertizing piano virtuoso. This 3CD set comprises Rubinstein's complete music for violin and piano. His violin sonatas offer an abundance of warm, sweeping melodies and instrumental brilliance. Violinist Daniela Cammarano (who plays a 1780 Guadagnini violin) and pianist Alessandro Deljavan have been collaborating regularly since 2009.
