Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, July/August 2014
The conductor's approach is large in scale, bold, intense, sometimes over the top. All those qualities are displayed in these Beethoven symphony recordings. The Seventh may interest listeners who like big Beethoven, with its broad interpretation and textures, prominent bass, and bold, brightly lit recording. The opening of I is noble, and the rest of the movement is exciting and weighty. The finale is spirited. The Coriolan Overture follows suit with speed, urgency, and nervousness. The orchestra plays well, and the string textures have a nice sheen.
