Notes & Reviews:

Very strong works for organ from four most interesting Norwegian composers Prof. Harald Herresthal has collected his finest recordings for this new release - which marks his 70th birthday. Knut Nystedt (b.1915) has written orchestral, chamber and church music. Conrad Baden (1908-89) was an organist, music critic and teacher in Oslo. Egil Hovland (1924-2012) was one of Norway's most prolific composers. Arne Nordheim (1931-2010) was one of the pioneers of electro-acoustic music in Norway.
