Notes & Reviews:
As of 2013, following a lapse of some ten years, the famed Erato imprint has been reborn. - During its original first three decades, Erato maintained a particular focus on French artists and French music, with a particular focus on the Baroque repertoire. Among the artists whom Erato lavished attention on was the great French organist Marie-Claire Alain. This collection of 1954 Bach recordings are presented for the first time on CD.
