Notes & Reviews:

Very little is known about the composer Bernhard - Ycart, whose version of the Lamentationes Hieremiæ - Prophetæ is premiered on this CD. - Josquin Desprez (c.1440-1521) and Heinrich Isaac (c.1450-1517) are the great musical names of the period around 1500. All three composers were of Franco-Flemish origin. - Wilfried Rombach leads the ensemble officium in these 2002 recordings.
